Shahid Abdur Rab Serniabat Textile Engineering College is one of the renowned textile colleges in Barisal Division. The college provides different textile degrees in different areas of textile. The college provides B.Sc. in Textile Engineering in 4 different areas of textile and one subject is proposed.

They try their best to fulfill the demand of technical and educated person in textile and apparel industry in this region and improve manpower by providing textile education.

Requirements for Admission: Students must be Bangladeshi by birth or by legal immigration. Candidate must be passed in SSC or equivalent examination from Science group and must obtaining CGPA 3.5 (Without 4^th Subject). Candidate must be passed in HSC or equivalent examination from Science group and must obtaining CGPA 3.5 (Without 4^th Subject). Candidate should get minimum CGPA 3.0 in Physics, Chemistry and Match individually. If a candidate got CGPA 2.0 in any subject he/she can not apply.  

GEC holder applicant must have average B grade in 5 subjects in O-Level and secure average B-grade in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the A-Level but D grade is not accepted.

GCE O Level and A Level candidates can not apply through SMS system. They have to collect application form by downloading from website www.dot.gov.bd Bank draft Tk.1000/- (one thousand taka only) favor of “Director, Department of Textile and convener admission committee” any branch of Sonali, Rupali, Janata, Agroni Bank. Complete Application forms send to Principal of College.
