Southeast University is one of the leading private universities in Bangladesh which was established under the Private University Act 1992 under the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The permanent campus of this university located in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka. The university also well known as SEU and started their journey with the mission “To provide higher education to students of this country at an affordable cost to produce skilled manpower”.

Southeast University (SEU) provides 4 year full time B.Sc.in Textile Engineering course to their students. Textile and apparel is one of the leading industries in this country as well as many countries of the world so that this sector needs more technical and educated person. SEU try to produce skilled manpower so that they can develop this sector to develop and grow economy of this country. The university provides many facilities to their students so that they can easily take up this degree. They provide theoretical and practical knowledge of textile so that students can understand this program easily. After completing this course any one can work different field of textile and apparel such as Spinning, Knitting, Weaving, Garments manufacturing and so on.

Course Duration: 4 Years (8 Semester)

Credit: 174 Credits (Full Time)

Course Fee: 5, 84,000 BDT or 7,508 USD Only (Variable)

Requirements for Admission Test: Students should be Bangladeshi by birth or legal immigration. Candidate must be passed in SSC or equivalent examination from Science group and must obtaining CGPA 2.50 (Without additional Subject) and HSC or equivalent examination from Science group and obtaining CGPA 2.50 (Without additional Subject). Student must have Physics, Chemistry and Math in HSC level. Foreign students should apply to the Ministry of Education; Government of Bangladesh through Bangladesh embassies located their own country.

Application Procedure: Students must apply through application form. Application forms are available in University office. Application charge 500 BDT or 7 USD only.
