Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology is one of the leading and top level private universities in Bangladesh. This is one of the oldest private universities which located in Dhaka.

This university well known as AUST which was founded by Dhaka Ahsaniya Mission in 1995 and the Dhaka Ahsaniya Mission is a no-profit voluntary organization which was established by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah in 1958. 

Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology provide B.Sc. in Textile Engineering course to their students to meet the today’s challenge in textile and apparel industry. If you want to build your bright career in textile, apparel of fashion industry you can take the degree from this renowned university. This is a 4 years full time course where you can learn theoretical and practical knowledge of different field of textile such as knitting, weaving, Sewing, wet processing, garments manufacturing, fashion designing etc. The university has a rich textile lab where you can get practical knowledge of different field of textile. After completing this course you can run a small to medium apparel or fashion business or you can work in the field on knitting, weaving, washing, merchandising etc. You can also take a higher degree in any field of textile after completing this course.

Requirements for Admission Test: Students should be Bangladeshi by birth or legal immigration. Candidate must be passed in SSC or equivalent examination from Science group and must obtaining CGPA 3.50 (Without additional Subject) and HSC or equivalent examination from Science group and obtaining CGPA 3.50 (Without additional Subject). Total grade point should be 8.00 without additional subject. Foreign students should apply to the Ministry of Education; Government of Bangladesh through Bangladesh embassies located their own country.

Application Procedure: Students must apply through application form. Application forms are available in University office. Application charge 400 BDT or 6 USD only. Candidate must be tested to get admitted in this program. 3% of the total seats are booked for the son and daughters of Freedom Fighters and another 3% are booked for the meritorious and poor candidates (Condition Apply)
