Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University is one of
the top level public universities in Bangladesh which is located in Santosh,
Tangail. The university started their activity in 1999 and finally running officially
in 2002.
The university has been named one of the renowned political leaders of
Bangladesh named Mawlana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani and the university also well
known as MBSTU.
The university provides B.Sc. in Textile Engineering to
their students so that they can develop their knowledge and skills in textile
and apparel industry. As textile and apparel sector is one of the leading
industry in this country as well as many others country in the world, so the
industry need educational and technical person to develop this industry and
MBSTU provides this 4 years full time course so that after completing this
course students can develop this industry. To meet skilled person in this
industry MBSTU provide theoretical and practical knowledge on different field
of textile such as spinning, knitting, weaving, garments manufacturing etc. The
university provides so many facilities to their students so that students can
take up this degree easily. They provide this course at a low cost with
scholarship for poor and talented students. The university provides textile lab,
computer lab, transportation facilities and hostel facilities to their
students.

Requirements for
Admission Test: Students should be Bangladeshi by birth or legal
immigration. Candidate must be massed SSC and HSC or equivalent examination
from Science group and obtaining CGPA 3.00 (Without additional Subject).
Foreign students should apply to the Ministry of Education; Government of
Bangladesh through Bangladesh embassies located their own country. 16 seats of
total number of seats are reserved for foreign students.
