BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) is one of the leading private textile universities which provide different types textile degrees to their students to fulfill the demand of technical and educated person in textile and apparel industry in this region. The university provides B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (TE) to their students.

The course is a full time 4 years course designed to provide technical and theoretical knowledge to the students. After completing the course any one can build his/her carrier as a Textile Engineer, Quality assurance manager, Factory manager, Merchandiser or any kind profession in textile and apparel industry.

Students get admitted through admission test and according to their result in SSC and HSC or equivalent examination. Students need good academic qualification in those levels. Students will set for admission test before admitted and admission test will have a written test in Physics, Chemistry, Math and General knowledge.

Requirements for Admission Test: Students should be Bangladeshi by birth or legal immigration. Candidate must be passed in SSC or equivalent examination from Science group and must obtaining CGPA 3.00 (Without 4^th Subject) and HSC or equivalent examination from Science group and obtaining CGPA 3.00 (Without 4^th Subject). Total grade point should be 6.00 and candidate should get minimum 3.00 in Physics, Chemistry and Math. Break of study should not more than 2 years. Foreign students should apply to the Ministry of Education; Government of Bangladesh through Bangladesh embassies located their own country.

Application Procedure: Students must apply through application form. Application forms are available in University office. Application charge 700 BDT or 9 USD only. Candidate must be tested to get admitted in this program.
